This week’s Crime Log covers Aug. 9-15.
Tuesday, Aug. 9
Gunshots were reported on Selfridge.
A strong-armed robbery was reported on Dyar.
Officers attempted to pull over a motorist, but the driver fled.
A shoplifter was reported at a business in the 9300 block of Jos. Campau.
A fight was reported in the 12100 block of Jos. Campau.
A domestic assault was reported in the 3100 block of Carpenter.
A resident of Centerline reported an incident of fraud in the 12000 block of Conant.
Officers assisted a motorist in the area of Caniff and Dequindre.

Wednesday, Aug. 10
Family trouble was reported in the 3100 block of Trowbridge. The incident turned out to be a domestic assault.
A suspect was arrested, in the 2300 block of Botsford St., for an assault.
Officers attempted to pull over a motorcyclist but the driver fled. After a short pursuit, officers recovered the bike.
A break-in was reported on Selfridge.
Officers investigating a break-in on Charest St. confronted a suspect who ran away. The suspect was later found in Detroit and arrested.
A package was reported stolen from a porch on Doremus.
A resident lost their passport.
An incident of fraud was reported on Conant.
A person reported receiving threatening phone calls.
A complaint was made about a disorderly group of people who were threatening a store employee on Caniff.

Thursday, Aug. 11
A complaint was made about disorderly customers at a business in the 2000 block of Caniff.
A hit-and-run accident that resulted in a pedestrian injury was reported on Commor, near Klinger.
Gunshots were reported on Grand Haven, near Circle Dr.

Friday, Aug. 12
A landlord-tenant dispute was reported in the 2300 block of Pulaski.
A juvenile was reported missing from a residence on Grand Haven.
A Dyar St. resident reported that someone shot a window of her apartment.
A Detroit resident was arrested for being wanted for several crimes.
A Doremus St. resident reported that someone stole his license plate.
A complaint was made about an animal in the 11600 block of Moran.
A disorderly person was reported in the 3000 block of Hanley.
A resident was arrested in the 11400 block of Klinger St. for domestic violence.
A Holbrook Ave. resident reported an incident of fraud.
An assault was reported in the 12000 block of Grand Haven.
A complaint was made about a juvenile in the 3300 block of Norwalk.

Saturday, Aug. 13
A fight was reported in the area of Mitchell and Carpenter.
An assault was reported in the 12000 block of Oklahoma.
A complaint was made about a suspicious person knocking on a door in the 11400 block of Moran.
Officers monitored a large group of people in the area of Jos. Campau and Carpenter.
A complaint was made about a person harassing others in the area of Holmes and Jos. Campau.
A break-in was reported in the 11600 block of Jos. Campau.
An assault was reported in the 12000 block of Selfridge.
A fight was reported in the 2000 block of Caniff.

Sunday, Aug. 14
A domestic assault was reported in the 3000 block of Trowbridge.
A report was made about a person with a gun who was involved in a fight in the 2300 block of Caniff Ave. Officers arrested the suspect after a foot chase.
Family trouble was reported in the 12000 block of Grand Haven.
Customer trouble was reported at a business in the 2000 block of Caniff.
An incident of harassment was reported in the 2300 block of Pulaski.
A break-in was reported in the 9800 block of Conant.
A fight was reported in the 2200 block of Danforth.
A theft was reported in the 3400 block of Yemans.

Monday, Aug. 15
Officers responded to a call about a break-in, in progress, in the 2200 block of Faber.
A theft from an auto was reported in the 1900 block of Evaline.
A suspicious person was reported in the 8000 block of Jos. Campau.
A theft was reported in the 11600 block of Mitchell.
A carjacking was reported on Zinow.
An assault was reported in the 3000 block of Hanley.
A theft was reported in the 9300 block of McDougall.
A disorderly group of people was reported on Dequindre.
A complaint was made about fireworks in Pulaski Park.
