Ever wake up in the middle of the night and feel sick, but not sick enough to wait hours and hours in a hospital emergency room?

Riding to your rescue at local Sav-Mor Pharmacies is an innovative plan called Telehealth. The program is the brainchild of a parent company called My T Health Plus, and is meant to help provide quicker access to health care, particularly during off-hours.

You agree to pay $14.99 per month to cover you and your family members, and in return you all get 24/7/365 coverage that enables you to call a board-certified physician any time you need one, in order to get a diagnosis and, if necessary, a prescription as well — right over the phone.
Yes, you read that right – a prescription over the phone.
Yvonne Gallagher, President of Sav-Mor Pharmacy Services, said in a press release “Our customers are our family, so we are committed to helping them get the resources they need as quickly as possible.”
This system would be especially effective in instances where a customer realizes they’ve run out of an essential medication and needs to refill it “yesterday.”
The My T Health Plus website (mythealthplus.com) mentions another huge benefit: The service is also meant to protect you when you are travelling.
Think of this program as a helping hand that can prove essential after your doctor’s office closes. And the price is a bargain as medical costs go these days.
