This week’s Crime Log covers Oct. 7-13.
Tuesday, October 7
A Dorothy resident reported the theft of her 2008 Dodge Charger. The car, however, had already been recovered by Detroit police.
At a little after 3 p.m. a man was arrested for breaking into a residence in the 11400 block of Fleming.
A resident in the 2200 block of Danforth reported someone broke into her residence and stole two televisions and a cell phone.
An adult foster home on Commor reported a missing person from the facility.
A resident in the 5100 block of Yemans reported a house break-in and the theft of her hot water tank and furnace.
A resident in the 2000 block of Belmont reported a garage break-in.
A woman turned in a shotgun to police, saying she no longer wanted it.
Wednesday, October 8
A resident in the 2600 block of Whalen reported the theft of his bike from his backyard.
A woman in the 11400 block of Jos. Campau was taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital for mental observation.

Thursday, October 9
At about 10 a.m. a man was arrested during a traffic stop on an outstanding warrant from California for violating his parole. The man had been convicted of a break-in.
A resident from Detroit and another from Hamtramck were arrested during a traffic stop for illegally possessing prescription drugs.
A Pulaski resident reported a garage break-in and the theft of several tools and lawn equipment.
Friday, October 10
At 2:30 a.m. a person said he was assaulted by a man armed with a knife.
A resident in the 11600 block of Moran reported seeing a man wearing a Michigan State jacket break into his garage.
A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct while in the 2100 block of Caniff.
A man reported that a distant relative defrauded him of money, assaulted his son and made multiple death threats to him and his children numerous times.
Saturday, October 11
No report was available for this date.
Sunday, October 12
Officers responded to a break-in alarm in the 1800 block of Commor. Upon arrival, officers noticed there had been a forced entry, but no one was in the residence.
At about 3 a.m. a Selfridge woman reported being assaulted by a person known to her.
A resident in the 12000 block of Mitchell reported the theft of several items that were on her front porch.
Monday, October 13
A resident in the 11600 block of Mitchell reported a garage break-in.
A woman was transported to Detroit Receiving Hospital for attempting suicide by ingesting pills and alcohol.
A resident in the 2300 block of Yemans reported seeing a person he knows steal his air compressor.
A resident in the 3900 block of Prescott reported someone broke out the windows of his car.
Officers investigating a heroin case in the 12000 block of Mitchell found an injured woman inside the residence and discovered drugs in plain view.
