This week’s Crime Log covers Nov. 19-25.

Tuesday, Nov. 19

          A man reported that someone attempted to steal his 2007 Honda while it was parked at Holbrook and McDougall. The ignition was damaged.

Two dogs attacked a Bernard St. resident’s pet rabbits. The Michigan Humane Society was asked to remove the dogs from a neighbor’s yard.

Officers responded to a domestic dispute on Holbrook and made an arrest for assault.

Wednesday, Nov. 20

          At 5:30 a.m. a Warren resident and a Detroit resident were arrested for breaking into a residence in the 11400 block of Moran St.

Michigan State Police dropped off a Fleming St. resident at the police station. The resident had an outstanding Hamtramck warrant.

A teacher from the middle school reported that a parent of one of her students sent her a harassing letter.                                                                                  

Walter’s Party Store on Conant reported someone stole a propane barbecue tank.

Thursday, Nov. 21

A resident living in the 9300 block of Mitchell St. reported someone broke into his residence.         

At 2 a.m., a resident living in the 3400 block of Doremus St. reported that someone broke out the window of her car while it was parked in front of her house.

At 3:15 a.m. a person was arrested in the 9800 block of Jos. Campau for being disorderly.

A Moran St. resident reported someone stole his credit card information and made fraudulent charges.

A Detroit woman reported her daughter was assaulted at the Hamtramck Charter Academy by another student.                                                                                  Officers responded to a report of domestic abuse at a house on Yemans St. Officers arrested both the brother and sister from the location for assaulting each other.                               

Officers responded to a call from a house on Belmont St. were a woman reported being assaulted by her father, who was gone when officers arrived.                                  

Friday, Nov. 22

Officers responded to a suspicious situation on Holbrook. A person was arrested at the scene for an open felony warrant.                

Highland Park police officers dropped off a woman who had an open Hamtramck arrest warrant.

          A woman reported her Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen from a residence on Moran St.

          Motor City Sports bar on Jos. Campau reported someone damaged its front window.

Officers responded to a stabbing in the Hamtramck projects. A woman stabbed her husband and then fled the scene. The husband was treated at the scene.  

Saturday, Nov. 23

          At 2:30 a.m. three people were arrested for being disorderly.

          At almost 4 a.m. a person was arrested for criminal sexual assault that happened in the 3500 block of Caniff.

          A man was arrested after getting into a fight with his wife. The man had threatened his wife with a kitchen knife.

Sunday, Nov. 24

          At 12:46 a.m. a person was arrested for assault following a fight in the 2000 block of Caniff.

          At 2 p.m. a woman reported that her 13-year-old son had run away from home.

          A Casmere St. woman reported that someone broke into her residence and stole several items.

Monday, Nov. 25

          A resident living in the 5000 block of Yemans St. reported a break-in and the theft of cash and a television.

          A man living in the 3400 block of Carpenter St. reported a break-in.

          A woman living in the 3100 block of Jacob St. reported the theft of her 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix.

          A resident living in the 1900 block of Edwin St. reported the theft of his refrigerator from his backyard.
