          This week’s Crime Log covers Jan. 14-20.

Tuesday, Jan. 14

          At 12:30 p.m. a man was arrested for domestic violence after assaulting his mother at the Hamtramck Senior Plaza.

          Michigan State Police dropped off a man wanted on an arrest warrant for not filing his Hamtramck income tax.

          At 2:15 a.m. officers responded to an open door at a residence on Nagel St. Officers noted that several items had been stolen.

A Hamtramck woman reported her iPhone 5 was stolen.                     

A Hamtramck man reported his mother-in-law was missing.                                    

A Hamtramck man was stabbed in the arm after an illegal dice game went bad.

Officers recovered a stolen 1996 Chevrolet Suburban in the area of the 3000 block of Trowbridge St.

A Hamtramck woman reported that someone used her ATM card without her permission.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

          A Hamtramck man was arrested for kidnapping a teenage girl from Detroit.

          At 11:30 p.m. a Nagel St. resident reported the theft of his Ford Edge.

          Security agents working for CN Railroad arrested a Hamtramck woman wanted on a Hamtramck arrest warrant.

Thursday, Jan. 16

          A runaway teen from Port Huron was taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital for treatment.

          A Hamtramck resident dropped off a set of keys that he found in the city parking lot at Caniff and McDougall.

          A Pontiac man reported his Lincoln Towncar was stolen from Charest St.

Friday, Jan. 17

          At 9:30 p.m. officers found the front door of Hoover Pharmacy had been pried open. No items appeared to be missing.

          A man reported that someone jacked up his car and partially cut off the catalytic convertor.

          A woman living in the 2200 block of Danforth St. reported a person she knows damaged her house and stole her cell phone.

          A market on the 9600 block of Conant was broken into and the cash register was stolen. The front door of the market had been smashed in.

          A woman reported her state ID and bank card were missing from her apartment.              

          A woman reported that she found the door to her father’s house on Florian St. pried open. She reported nothing was missing.                                                               

Saturday, Jan. 18

          A person reported the theft of their cell phone from a Jos. Campau business.

          At almost 3 a.m. a man reported that he was assaulted by a person he knows.

          At almost 10 p.m. a man reported that a prostitute named “Sue” stole money from his wallet while in his bedroom in a residence on Dan St.

          A woman reported that a man she knows stole her cell phone from her car while it was parked in front of Amicci’s Pizza.

          At 4:30 a.m. a woman reported her boyfriend assaulted her while at her residence in the 11400 block of McDougall St.

          During a traffic stop, a Hamtramck man was arrested for an outstanding Hamtramck warrant and for driving without a license.

          A man was arrested in a local bar for being disorderly and refusing to leave the establishment. A woman was arrested at the same bar for being drunk and disorderly.

Sunday, Jan. 19

          At almost 2 a.m. a person reported being assaulted in an establishment in the 11400 block of Jos. Campau.

          At 3:30 p.m. a man reported that he was robbed at gunpoint while in the 2600 block of Holmes St.

          At 6 p.m. a teenager was arrested for damaging property and obstructing officers while at Jos. Campau and Caniff.

         

Monday, Jan. 20

          At almost midnight, a woman was arrested at Jos. Campau and Hanley on an outstanding Hamtramck arrest warrant and for possessing narcotic paraphernalia.

          At almost 2 a.m. a woman was arrested for taking both a 12-year-old girl who she had been babysitting and a Lincoln belonging to the child’s mother. The woman drove from Pontiac to Hamtramck where the girl called her mother. The woman then grabbed the phone and slapped and punched the girl. The woman left the vehicle, and the girl alerted residents in the Casmere and Fleming area. Officers later arrested the woman who abducted the girl, and she faces multiple felony charges. Police said the woman had gone on a drinking and driving binge. The woman had a blood-alcohol level of 0.306.

          A resident of Evaline St. reported that someone he knows stole his wallet and used his credit cards without permission.

          At 10 a.m. a Sobieski St. woman reported that a group of males tried to break into her residence in order to assault her son. The suspects fled before officers arrived.

          A Brombach St. man reported that someone stole his medication from his residence.
