          This week’s Crime Log covers Jan. 21-27.

Tuesday, Jan. 21

          A resident reported losing $850 in a Green Dot card scam.

          Officers responded to an open door on Nagel St.

A resident was arrested for an open warrant and for providing false information to officers.

A Detroit man was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Two juveniles were assaulted and one had their i-Phone stolen by a group of men in the area of Holbrook and McDougall      streets.

Wednesday, Jan. 22

          The Wixom Police Department reported recovering a Dodge Caravan stolen out of Hamtramck.

          Two people were arrested for driving a stolen vehicle.

Thursday, Jan. 23

          At 6:30 a.m. a man reported he was assaulted by another man wearing a white coat while at the Mobil gas station on Caniff.

          A man reported his Chrysler Town and Country was stolen while it was parked on Gallagher near Roosevelt. The car had its keys in the ignition.

          A Hamtramck man reported someone opened a Verizon account in his name without his knowledge.

Friday, Jan. 24

          A man living in the 3200 block of Trowbridge St. reported someone broke into his garage and stole tools.

          A man reported his 2006 Mercedes was stolen while it was parked in the 3000 block of Goodson St. Detroit police, however, reported it had been found completely burned.

Officers arrested a Detroit man during a traffic investigation in the area of Fleming and Whalen.

Saturday, Jan. 25

          A resident living in the 11400 block of Nagel St. reported his car was stolen while parked in front of his residence.

          Another resident on Nagel St. reported the theft of her air conditioning unit.

          A person was ticketed for possessing narcotic paraphernalia.

A resident on Evaline St. reported that his flat was broken into and a television was taken.

Sunday, Jan. 26

          A Norwalk St. resident reported that the license plate was stolen from his vehicle. 

An Edwin St. resident reported the attempted theft of his vehicle.        

          An Oak Park resident reported rocks were thrown at her vehicle. The suspects fled before officers arrived.

Monday, Jan. 27

          At 12:14 p.m. a Whalen St. resident was arrested for domestic violence.       

          A Doremus St. resident reported that someone used his ID to open a DTE Energy account in his name. A Hewitt St. resident also reported ID fraud when someone opened a Comcast account in his name.

          A Dequindre St. woman reported the theft of her car, which had been parked in the Dequindre-Edwin area.
