Monday, December 29
A man reported the theft of 12 cases of pork from the 8300 block of St. Aubin.
At 4:30 a.m. a resident reported her 13-year-old grandson was missing.
A man was arrested in the 3200 block of Caniff for being wanted on a Hamtramck warrant.
A company that recently purchased a house in the 11700 block of Grand Haven from a tax foreclosure sale reported a break-in and theft of a water heater and furnace.

Tuesday, December 30
At almost 1 a.m. a man in the 12000 block of Klinger was arrested after he attacked a family member with a lamp.
At 12:30 a.m. a man kicked in the front door of Maria’s Beauty Salon in the 12000 block of Conant. Nothing was stolen and the suspect had fled before officers arrived.
A resident reported that her 2013 Kia was damaged while it was parked in the 12000 block of Fleming.
A resident was stabbed while in the 2900 block of Lehman by a person known to the victim.
A resident reported the theft of his 1998 Jeep Cherokee from the 2600 block of Zinow.
A Charest resident reported the theft of a box of prescription drugs from her mailbox.
Wednesday, December 31
A resident in the 2200 block of Poland reported a break-in and the theft of several items, including a television and a cell phone.
Thursday, January 1
At 1:35 a.m. a man was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend at her Grand Haven residence.
A woman was arrested during a traffic stop after it was discovered that she had crashed into three parked cars on Hanley.
Two people were arrested for possessing open intoxicants and drug paraphernalia following an investigation at Conant and Holbrook.
A resident reported her car window was broken and several items were stolen while it was parked in the 11600 block of Moran.
Another resident reported his car window broken out while it was parked in the area of Jos. Campau and Commor. Nothing was stolen.
A suspect known to police fired two or three rounds at a car in the 11600 block of Fleming and then fled in a gray Infiniti.
A man in the 9600 block of Gallagher reported his car window had been smashed out.
A man was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident in the Florian-Latham area.
Friday, January 2

Detroit police recovered a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer that had been stolen out of Hamtramck.
A resident was arrested in the 2300 block of Danforth for being wanted on a Hamtramck warrant.
A Detroit resident was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without a license.
A car was impounded after the driver produced fraudulent proof of insurance during a traffic stop.
A Highland Park resident was arrested following a traffic stop for having fraudulent proof of insurance and possessing narcotic paraphernalia.

Saturday, January 3
At 2 a.m. a patron at a Jos. Campau bar was arrested for being disorderly and obstructing officers.
Sunday, January 4
A 2010 Ford Fusion was reported stolen while it was parked in the 11000 block of Dyar.
At 1:20 a.m. a person was arrested for assault and battery while at an establishment on Jos. Campau.
At 3:25 a.m. a man was arrested for domestic violence after assaulting his girlfriend at their residence.
A St. Aubin woman reported her son had been stealing money from her.
A resident reported his radio/navigation system was stolen from his car.
Two residents in a Conant nursing home assaulted each other.
Monday, January 5
A person reported someone attempted to steal a Dodge Caravan in the 12000 block of Lumpkin.
A man was arrested for assaulting his wife in the 3800 block of Edwin.
A resident reported the theft of his 1999 Dodge Caravan from the 2000 block of Belmont.
Detroit police reported they recovered a car stolen from Hamtramck and found on Dwyer completely stripped.
A person reported that the driver’s side window of a Dodge Caravan had been smashed out in the 2300 block of Faber.
A Lumpkin resident reported someone he knows threatened him and pulled a knife. The suspect fled before officers arrived.
A Detroit man was arrested for driving without a license. It was also found out that his license had been suspended 25 times.
