This week’s Crime Log covers Feb. 3-7.
Tuesday, February 3
A resident was arrested following a traffic stop for being wanted on a Hamtramck warrant.
A resident reported someone broke into his car while it was parked in the 2600 block of Holbrook and stole his registered .40 caliber handgun.
A Detroit woman went to the police station to turn in two 9mm handguns that were registered to her.
A Detroit resident was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without a license.
A resident was arrested for driving recklessly in the McDonald’s parking lot.
Wednesday, February 4
Officers checked on the welfare of a youth in a residence in the 12000 block of Grand Haven. Officers took the youth and her mother to Detroit Receiving Hospital.
At a little after midnight, a person was arrested for possessing an open bottle of liquor following an investigation at Caniff and Lumpkin.
At about 4 a.m. a woman said her live-in boyfriend assaulted her and then fled with her passport.
A resident reported the theft of his 2002 Jeep Liberty while it was parked at Jos. Campau and Goodson.

Thursday, February 5
A person was arrested for obstructing officers following a disturbance in the 12000 block of Dyer.
A person was arrested following a traffic stop for being wanted on a Homeland Security felony warrant.
A woman filed a domestic violence complaint against her boyfriend, who had fled her residence armed with a 9mm handgun.
A resident was arrested after refusing to move his stopped car at Evaline and Conant after an officer activated his lights and air horn several times. The driver had a suspended license and was wanted on a warrant.
A man was arrested in a business in the 2100 block of Caniff for retail fraud and loitering.
Friday, February 6
A resident reported damage to his 2007 Pontiac while it was parked in the 3200 block of Norwalk.
A Bernard resident reported his Bridge Card went missing after he hosted a party at his residence.
Saturday, February 7
A resident reported that her ex-boyfriend repeatedly called her and attempted to run her off the road when she was driving in the city.
A black and white pit bull was found with no collar at Steve’s party store and taken to the Westland Humane Society.
A Detroit resident was arrested for a burglary after he was seen breaking into a residence and then walking away.

Saturday, February 7
A resident reported that her ex-boyfriend repeatedly called her and attempted to run her off the road when she was driving in the city.
