          This week’s Crime Log covers Jan. 28-Feb. 3.

Tuesday, Jan. 28

          At 3 a.m. a man attempted to sexually assault a woman leaving a Jos. Campau bar. The woman is an employee at the bar.

          At about 4 a.m. a man was arrested in the 2300 block of Zinow St. after breaking into a car and attempting to steal it.

          At 5 a.m. a 2002 Dodge Caravan was stolen in the 2300 block of Faber St. Officers also noticed that a 1997 Plymouth Voyager was found at the same location running with its ignition punched out.

          At 1 a.m. a woman was arrested in the 11600 block of Sobieski St. for domestic abuse.

          A man reported someone opened a Verizon account in his name.

          An agent from Child Protective Services reported a possible case of child abuse at a house in the 12000 block of Gallagher St.

          A Yemans St. woman reported her car was damaged while it was parked in the 11300 block of Lumpkin St.

          At about 8:30 p.m. a Warren resident reported being assaulted while at Jacob and Jos. Campau.

         

Wednesday, Jan. 29

          At 1 a.m. a motorist struck several vehicles on Lehman near Gallagher.

          At 9 a.m. a resident reported that someone stole a FedEx package from his front porch.

          A Hamtramck woman reported that her daughter had been assaulted in their home.

          At about noon, a resident reported someone stole his 2001 Chrysler Town & Country from Lehman and Conant.

          A Whalen St. resident was arrested for obstruction during an investigation by Child Protective Services.

          A Detroit resident was arrested for assaulting several people at a veterans’ post on Jos. Campau.

Thursday, Jan. 30

          No report was available for this date.

Friday, Jan. 31               

          An Edwin St. resident reported the theft of a book bag that contained several electronic devices.

          A resident living in the 2600 block of Belmont St. reported someone slashed car tires.

A St. Aubin St. man reported his son attempted to open a credit card in his name. The son also attempted to sign over his mother’s car to his sister.

Saturday, Feb. 1

          A resident living in the 3500 block of Caniff reported his car was stolen.

Sunday, Feb. 2

          At 1:30 a.m. a man living in the 2000 block of Commor St. was arrested for assaulting his wife.

          At 2:30 a.m. a person was arrested after a traffic stop for drunk driving.

          At 7:30 p.m. a Belmont St. couple reported they were carjacked in the parking lot at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts store.

Monday, Feb. 3

          At 2 a.m. a man reported being assaulted in front of a business in the 11600 block of Jos. Campau.

A Trowbridge St. resident reported that his handgun was stolen while he was in Europe.

A Highland Park resident was arrested for an outstanding Hamtramck warrant.

A Detroit resident was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

          Three Hamtramck teens were arrested for beating up another teen.
