This week’s Crime Log covers May 6-12

Tuesday, May 6
A garage break-in was reported in the 12000 block of Charest.
At almost 3 a.m. a male suspect was recorded breaking into Metro PCS on Conant. Assorted items were stolen. The suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a Ford Mustang.
A little after 5 a.m. a man was arrested in the 3100 block of Goodson for domestic violence.
A landlord reported one of his tenants assaulted him.

Wednesday, May 7
A woman reported being assaulted in the 12000 block of Grand Haven by a person known to her.
Several people reported someone shot six rounds at them while they were in the Dequindre-Carpenter area. No injuries were reported.
At 10:30 p.m. a man was arrested for threatening his ex-girlfriend with a gun.
At a little after midnight, a woman was arrested in the 2300 block of Caniff for calling 911 without a reason and for child neglect.
A resident reported that she had legal guardianship of her grandchildren but the children’s mother kidnapped them.
A resident on Poland reported that someone broke into her home and stole electronic items.
Thursday, May 8
A Detroit man was arrested for an open Hamtramck warrant during a traffic stop.
A Detroit man reported that an unknown person filled his prescriptions at a Hamtramck pharmacy without his knowledge or consent.
A woman on Moran reported her husband assaulted her and fled the house.
Friday, May 9
At a little after midnight two people were arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
At 8:45 a.m. a juvenile was found with a marijuana blunt in the 11400 block of Charest.
A resident reported that someone put sugar in her car’s gas tank while it was parked in the 12000 block of Dyar.
A resident reported someone broke into his house in the 2600 block of Zinow and stole tools.
A resident reported someone stole his bike while it was at the Sunoco gas station on Jos. Campau.
Officers responded to a suspicious person running through yards on Prescott. Once apprehended, officers arrested the suspect for possessing narcotic paraphernalia.

Saturday, May 10
At 1:30 a.m. a driver was arrested during a traffic stop for not having a license.
At almost 9 a.m. a Nagel resident reported being assaulted by her boyfriend.
A Caniff resident reported that her catalytic converter was stolen.
Officers located and stopped a stolen Cadillac on Lumpkin and arrested the driver.
A Commor resident was arrested for making a false emergency call for an ambulance.
Sunday, May 11
At 11:40 p.m. a person was arrested for an outstanding Hamtramck warrant following an investigation at Carpenter and Conant.
At 12:45 a.m. two juveniles were taken to the police station for violating the city’s curfew. A ticket was issued to their mother.
At 1:10 a.m. a person was arrested for robbery following an investigation of an incident at Jos. Campau and Caniff.
At 4:30 a.m. a driver was arrested for drunk driving during a traffic stop at Caniff and Fleming.
Monday, May 12
A woman was arrested at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice in Detroit for a Hamtramck fraud charge.
A Detroit resident and a Walled Lake resident were arrested for     retail fraud and holding drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Fleming and Caniff.
