Tuesday, May 26
A Social Security card was found in the area of Dequindre and Edwin.
A resident reported damage to the circuit box at his residence in the 12000 block of McDougall.
At a little after 1 a.m. a resident was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without a license and providing false information to a police officer.
Officers took a report of a possible criminal sexual assault that occurred in the 3800 block of Prescott.
A person reported the theft of their wallet while it was in their parked car in the 11400 block of Sobieski.
A representative from Subway reported the theft of deposits from the store’s safe.
A man reported being robbed by a man and a woman of $20 while in front of a store in the 9200 block of Jos. Campau.
The owner of a 1999 Plymouth reported he knew where his stolen car was located. Police later recovered it in the Mt. Elliot-Stockton area.
A woman reported a friend slapped her and pointed a gun at her while in the 2200 block of Wyandotte.
A woman reported her teen son threatened her. The teen was apprehended and taken to a juvenile detention center.

 
Wednesday, May 27

A Comstock resident was arrested after striking his tenant with a blunt object following an argument.
Detroit police recovered a car that was stolen out of Hamtramck. The car had been completely stripped.
Hamtramck officers recovered a car stolen out of Detroit parked against a dumpster with a flat tire, punched door lock and punched ignition.
At about 3 a.m. officers checked on a business in the 11400 block of Jos. Campau where there was an open window. Officers secured the building.
At almost 6 a.m. a woman reported her boyfriend had kicked open her door. When officers arrived at her residence in 12000 block of Selfridge the woman refused to cooperate or make a report.
At almost 12:30 p.m. a woman wearing a wig and sunglasses robbed PNC Bank. The suspect did not have a weapon. The bank said she handed a teller a note, and the teller handed over an unknown amount of money. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot westbound on Holmes.
A woman reported receiving threatening phone calls from a person she knows.
Two Detroit residents were arrested following a traffic stop for being wanted on Hamtramck warrants.

 
Thursday, May 28
At 10 p.m. three Detroit juveniles were arrested for violating the curfew ordinance. They were released to their parents.
At almost midnight a Pulaski resident reported her 15-year-old son had run away from home.
At 11:30 p.m. while checking on illegal dumping in the 12000 block of McDougall officers discovered a severe case of child abuse. Agents from Children’s Protective Services were called in. The mother of three children was arrested and her three children were removed from a condemned home. The children were later released to a relative.
A woman reported that while in the 3100 block of Roosevelt, a woman and a man got out of a car and grabbed her iPhone and then fled the area.
An agent from Children’s Protective Services reported being assaulted while in the 3800 block of Prescott.
A resident reported the theft of their 2003 Chrysler Voyage while it was parked in the 9400 block of Brombach.
A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend damaged her apartment door in the 12000 block of Selfridge.

 
Friday, May 29
At almost 11 p.m. officers checked on a business in the 9400 block of Jos. Campau regarding an open door. The business owner was also at the scene.
At almost 11:30 p.m. a resident was arrested for trespassing after entering a condemned house in the 12000 block of McDougall.
A homeowner reported a garage break-in and the theft of a generator.
At 12:20 a.m. a resident in the 12000 block of McDougall reported a suspect broke into her residence, grabbed her purse and shoved her to the floor. The suspect stole $48 and a pack of cigarettes. The suspect and another man returned a few minutes later and were arrested after attempting to gain entry. The suspects fled on their bicycles but officers apprehended them.
At almost 9 a.m. a man reported that while walking in the 3100 block of Caniff two men wearing dark clothing took his backpack and fled.
A woman in the 2200 block of Florian reported a break-in.
Officers arrested a suspect for attempting kidnapping.
A man was arrested for assaulting another man.

 
Saturday, May 30
A man and a woman were arrested following a traffic stop for being wanted on a Hamtramck warrant and possessing an open bottle of liquor.
A Detroit resident was arrested for being wanted on a Hamtramck warrant.
At almost 2 a.m. a resident was arrested in the area of Jos. Campau and Casmere for being disorderly.
At a little after 3 a.m. an armed robbery took place in the 11600 block of Moran.
A man reported the theft of his 26-inch mountain bike from the 3100 block of Caniff.
A resident in the 11300 block of Lumpkin reported a neighbor’s dog bit his son.

 
Sunday, May 31
At about 3 a.m. a Warren resident was arrested for possessing narcotic paraphernalia and an open bottle of liquor while in the 3800 block of Belmont.
A Warren resident reported being assaulted, but did not know the location where it happened. The woman reported she was drinking at a bar she did not know the location of with a man who works for her boyfriend.
A Mitchell resident reported seeing a man walk up to a nearby residence and take a lawnmower that had been sitting out.
A McDougall resident reported his front door kicked in and the theft of two flat screen televisions.

 
Monday, June 1
At about 2:30 a.m. a resident was arrested for a domestic assault that occurred in the 11300 block of Fleming.
A man was arrested for drunk driving following an accident at Dequindre and Carpenter.
A juvenile was arrested for assaulting another juvenile in the 3900 block of Yemans.
Officers noticed an open door at a residence in the 3900 block of Belmont and secured it.
