This week’s Crime Log covers Sept. 20-26.

Tuesday, Sept. 20
Family trouble was reported in the 11000 block of Charest.
A vehicle was reported stolen in the 5000 block of Caniff.
Officers attempted a traffic stop of a dark-colored SUV, but the driver sped away.
A break-in was reported in the 12000 block of Oklahoma.
A car-jacking was reported on Conant at Carpenter. The suspect was later arrested.
An armed robbery was reported on Belmont near Conant.
A domestic assault was reported on Evaline.
An assault was reported on Selfridge.
A neighbor dispute was reported on Fleming.
A complaint was made about a disorderly person on Gallagher.
Officers investigated a complaint about a loud noise on Fleming.

Wednesday, Sept. 21
A report was made about a male holding a gun at Conant and Casmere.
A hit-and-run accident occurred at Conant and Holbrook.
A Conant Ave. business reported a theft.
A hit-and-run accident occurred at Conant and Carpenter.
A Grand Haven St. resident reported an incident of fraud.
A complaint was made about a disorderly group of people who were in front of a Jos. Campau business.
A hit-and-run accident happened on Mackay near Holmes.
A complaint was made about a disorderly group of people on Dyar.

Thursday, Sept. 22
A complaint was made about two intoxicated males arguing in the 2300 block of Botsford.
A theft was reported in the 9500 block of Conant.
A report was made about a male sleeping on machinery in the 3300 block of Hamtramck Dr.

Friday, Sept. 23
A male was arrested after crashing into several vehicles in the area of Gallagher and Norwalk. The suspect initially fled from the scene. He was also arrested for driving drunk.
A Moran St. resident reported in an incident of fraud.
An illegal dumping was reported on Dequindre.
A possible fight was reported on Belmont at Lumpkin.
Family trouble was reported on Burger.
A complaint was made about a suspicious man on Caniff.
A break-in was reported on Casmere.

Saturday, Sept. 24
A possible domestic assault was reported in the 3900 block of Prescott.
Officers responded to the 3900 block of Prescott in regards to a possible domestic dispute.
A complaint was made about an unwanted person at a residence in the 2400 block of Florian.
A harassment complaint was made in the 3900 block of Prescott.
Vandalism of city property was reported at Veterans Park.
A complaint was made about a disorderly person in the 3000 block of Hanley.
A break-in was reported in the 5100 block of Yemans.
A fight was reported in the 12000 block of Selfridge.
A neighbor dispute was reported on Grayling.
Family trouble was reported on Mitchell.
A Moran St. resident reported that their mail had been stolen.

Sunday, Sept. 25
A complaint was made about a disorderly group of people at Holbrook and Jos. Campau.
A noise complaint was made in the 2600 block of Carpenter.
A report was made about a male knocking on several doors in the 11300 block of Sobieski. Another report was made about a male knocking on doors in the 9400 block of Charest.
Officers investigated a complaint from a person who said they were followed home by a suspicious vehicle in the 12000 block of Selfridge. Officers located the vehicle and questioned the driver. It was determined that no crime occurred.
Customer trouble was reported in the 12100 block of Evaline.
Family trouble was reported in the 11500 block of Lumpkin.
Following a traffic stop on Moran, a suspect was arrested for multiple misdemeanor charges.
A juvenile was arrested, on Carpenter near Moran, for reckless driving. The juvenile was turned over to their parent.
A noise complaint was made on Sobieski.

Monday, Sept. 25
A complaint was made about a male carrying a gun in the 10000 block of Conant who was attempting to sell narcotics.
A report was made about a suspicious vehicle following another vehicle.
A male was arrested for drunk driving.
A complaint was made about a suspicious person knocking on a resident’s door in the 11000 block of Klinger.
A complaint was made about a loose dog on Lumpkin.
An assault was reported on Jos. Campau.
An incident of fraud was reported at a Jos. Campau business.
Officers recovered a loose pit bull on Holmes, then took it to the Westland Humane Society for boarding.
A runaway juvenile was returned to their home on Selfridge.
A theft from an auto was reported on Poland.
