Grace period for Jos. Campau parking meters is still only five minutes

There is confusion among some Jos. Campau merchants about the grace period to feed Campau parking meters.
Extending the time to pay for parking was talked about, but it never happened.
In other words, you still have only five minutes to exit your car and feed the meters on Jos. Campau. Somehow word got out that the grace period had been extended to 10 minutes.
To repeat: you only have five minutes to pay to park on Jos. Campau.
But the city council did adjust the grace period to pay for parking in city lots to 30 minutes.
Enforcement of the meters goes from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Monthly parking passes are available for $25.
As Bob Dylan famously sang: “Don’t follow leaders, watch the parking meters.”
