Juneteenth picnic on Monday

This Monday, why not celebrate Juneteenth with the city of Hamtramck?
There’ll be a potluck picnic, complete with trivia and card games, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Sunday, June 19.
It will be at the Sarah Garrett Park, 11361 Dequindre.
Attendees are advised to bring their own chairs and blankets. For those bringing food, they are asked to label any food with potential allergens (common ones, although not a complete list, include eggs, fish or shellfish, tomatoes, peanuts, tree nuts such as pine nuts, and so on) or with any pork products (for those with halal or kosher prohibitions).
The weather may have cooled down by then (let us hope), so come on out and socialize with your neighbors, why don’tcha?
