Motive for some school candidates is questionable

What a shame.
Only seven out of the 15 candidates running for Hamtramck School Board returned surveys we sent them to find out where they stand on issues the district is facing.
That just goes to show you that these candidates don’t want you to know what they think or what they plan to do. Their failure to participate in the survey only confirms our worse fears about their motives.
We have heard from good sources that some of these candidates have only their personal interests at heart. Namely, some want to turn the district into charter schools for their or their friends’ benefit.
Or, just as bad, maybe these candidates don’t know a thing about school issues and are running only to satisfy their own egos.
Either way, we can’t stress enough how important this election is. In one swoop this election could radically alter the district if the wrong people get in.
That’s why we are endorsing the following:
Six-year term: ALAN SHULGON, EVAN MAJOR and DENNIS LUKAS
Four-year term: ERIC BURKMAN
Two-year term: OMAR ALMASMARI (with a nod to Jackie Starr)

The five Bengali school board candidates called at least 40 times at people houses and cell phone the Election Day. There message contains ‘SAVE HAMTRAMCK’ vote for all five and fill the panel, to lower your house and business taxes. They barely say anything about the school or the education. They are lying to the hamtramck residents and taking advantage of their votes. They should be investigated about this issue for leaving a fraud message to get the ‘VOTES’.

The bangali school board candidates are running just for there own interest and trying to be a leader to destroy the city of hamtramck including the councilmember. They are not there for any benefits for the city or the residents. There campaign is only about voting for them not what there going to do for the city. They make no sense, there running for school board but promising and campaigning what the mayor even can’t do. Like talking about businesses and houses to lower the taxes. They gave wrong messages to the cities residents. They need to be asked what are they running for? Please find out.

Went door to door with copy of a election ballot to show people how to vote and talked about absently votes. Vote for Mohammed Huda, Nasir Sabuj, Ataur Khan, Anam Miah and Ripon Lasker to improve the city.

Not surprised scamming the residents, two out of five won the election. They have no clue what they are getting into because they have something else in there head. None of them are qualified for any public positions. They truly need to know that.

Mohammed Huda , Ataur Khan and some of the council member should run for 2016 presidential election. They probably think they have enough votes as well, to become next president of USA. Who knows that’s maybe there next plan.

Minority communities are getting involved in democratic process, its a good sign for our democracy. We should appreciate this move. One of the candidates who won this election has three masters degree including one in education. I believe he is well qualified and deserves to be a member of HPS board.
