HPS supporting diversity
This past Tuesday was National Day of Racial Healing. This is a day that offers an opportunity to reflect on our shared values and take collective action toward a more just and equitable world.
At Hamtramck Public Schools we are proud of our diverse community and will always renounce any form of racism, bigotry or discrimination. We are stronger together!

MLK Day
We honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. As our students study his life filled with sacrifice, courage and the pursuit of justice, we’re reminded why he was and continues to serve as an inspiration.

School Board
January is School Board Recognition Month.
We are grateful for the efforts of our Board of Education who give so much of their time in dedication to the community and its children.
Thank you for dedicating time both in and outside of board meetings, attending school functions and supporting the district for the betterment of our community. We appreciate you!

Covid forum
Join Hamtramck Public Schools and Eastern Michigan University for an open forum to express thoughts and opinions about COVID-19 and the flu from 3 to 4:30 p.m. this Friday, Jan. 20 at the Hamtramck High School Auditorium.
