Citizenship classes
In partnership with HPS, we are enrolling for our Fall/Winter 2022-23 ESL and Citizenship Preparation classes. This is an In-person class located at Detroit Friendship House.
ESL is available for all HPS parents, if your children attend any of the following schools you can register for the ESL class
• Tau Beta
• Early Childhood Elementary
• Dickinson East
• Dickinson West
• Holbrook
• Hamtramck High School
You do not have to be an HPS parent to participate in the citizenship preparation classes.

No school
On Nov. 8, which is election day, HPS students will have the day off from school.
But HPS staffmembers will be required to report to work.

School Board
The regular monthly meeting of the Board is Wednesday, Nov. 9, starting at 6:30 p.n. at the Administration building. You can also watch the meeting via a Youtube link.
