Education in the news
Recently, Gov. Whitmer signed a bill into law that repeals a rule that required students who can’t read at grade level by 3rd grade must be held back.
Whitmer said that choice should be made by parents.
“Getting this done will offer parents more flexibility and ensure educators can focus on doing what they do best — helping students reach their full potential,” Whitmer said.
