Soup festival is just what the doctor ordered

A beautiful, mild fall day, fresh soup, polkas and Polish folk dancers.

Could you ask for anything better?

If you were at Sunday’s St. Florian’s Polish Soup Festival, you could experience all that and more. By mid-afternoon, the parish’s main hall downstairs was packed with revelers.

The Kielbasa Kings provided the music entertainment and three dance troupes wowed the audience with some pretty fancy dance steps.

Add some Polish beer to the mix, and it was one heck of a fall party. And if you were a certain reporter on hand with a raging cold, the soup was just what the doctor ordered.

Can’t wait until next year.
