We’re not going quackers, there is a goose on the loose

Anyone missing a goose?
It’s not often Hamtramck attracts critters of a different feather, but on Friday afternoon, this goose was spotted strutting around the city parking lot on Caniff and McDougall.
We’re not sure if it was lost or just taking a break.
Did it come from Belle Isle?
Lake St. Clair?
Hopefully it takes flight before someone runs into it with a car.
Fortunately, the city parking lot is blocked off while waiting to be repaved.
We’ve also heard that a white rabbit keeps appearing on Caniff in the construction zone.
Maybe nature is slowly reclaiming Hamtramck? Afterall, the east section of town is known as “Ducktown.”

We just found out that the bird has been hanging around the parking lot all day. If you have time, stop by and take a gander.

Well, it’s 6:30 p.m. and it appears the goose has flown the coop. Nice seeing you. Safe travels.

I’ve got a live trap for the bunny. Trying to get it… I bought rabbit Ford and bin crossing my fingers. Spotted it this morning on Caniff by ghost light.
