This week’s crime Log covers May 20-26.
Tuesday, May 20
At about 2 a.m. a Hamtramck resident was placed under arrest at Caniff and Gallagher for domestic violence.
Officers arrested a man for stealing items from a vehicle on Belmont.
Wednesday, May 21
At about 10 a.m. a resident reported that their garage in the 12000 block of Mitchell was broken into and several items were stolen.
A Hamtramck resident reported her mother’s prescription medication was stolen from her mother’s residence.
Officers arrested a Detroit man for an open Hamtramck warrant after a traffic stop in the area of Goddard and Carpenter.

A resident on St. Aubin reported that his friend broke into his house and stole several items.
Thursday, May 22
A Dyer St. resident was arrested on a Hamtramck warrant and for possessing narcotic paraphernalia.
Officers detained a juvenile after he assaulted another student on a bus.
Officers arrested two people at Jos. Campau and Danforth for possessing open alcohol and obstructing police.
Friday, May 23
At 11:35 p.m. a women living in the 12000 block of Dequindre reported a domestic dispute with her ex-boyfriend.
A woman was ticketed on Lehman for disorderly conduct and obstructing police.
A woman reported her phone was stolen from her son while he played basketball in the area of Brombach and Holbrook.
Saturday, May 24
At 1:30 a.m. officers investigated a report of gunshots being heard in the 12000 block of Selfridge.
At 12:30 p.m. a Caniff resident reported being assaulted at his home.
At 10:30 a.m. a Mitchell resident reported someone broke into his home and stole several items.
At 12:44 p.m. a Florian resident reported his home was broken into.
Wayne State University officers arrested a Detroit man wanted on two Hamtramck misdemeanor warrants.
A Latham resident reported three men stole her bike from her backyard.

Sunday, May 25
At 1:30 a.m. a shooting occurred at Club Aces at 11425 Jos. Campau. Suspects were seen fleeing in a black Dodge Magnum with black rims, going northbound on Jos. Campau.
At a little after midnight, A Farmington Hills resident was arrested for loitering in the Col. Hamtramck Housing projects.
A Detroit resident was arrested for assaulting and threatening a child while inside Detroit Donut.
Monday, May 26
