In Our Opinion … Political division in city hall is getting worse

You have to wonder about this city council.
As we’ve mentioned before, there is a growing division between some councilmembers and the mayor and the city manager.
It appears that this power struggle is far from being resolved, and having seen this play out before, things will get worse to the point where the city can become frozen in a political standoff.
This, obviously, doesn’t bode well for the community, especially in what appear to be uncertain times in this country and the world.
Get it together, folks.
We’re not sure where things went wrong on council, but none of their antics are helping better the lives of residents.
We urge councilmembers to remember why they are representing the community, which is to serve it – not for personal gain or status.
