Meet the new city manager and police chief

By Charles Sercombe
If you’d like to meet the city’s new city manager and police chief, don’t get too cozy Sunday (Feb. 15) evening.
That’s when Hamtramck’s newly-elected Mayor Adam Alharbi is inviting the public to a meet-and-greet this Sunday (Feb. 15) at the Hamtramck Public Library.
Recently, the city council hired Adel Al-Adlani as city manager and Hussein Farhat as acting police chief.
The event starts at 7 p.m. and goes to 9 p.m.
The library is located at 2360 Caniff.

Simply outrageous that the public had no input on the hiring of someone who does not even possess the minimum qualifications demanded by the Hamtramck City Charter.

This how we “re-hired” the legendary Maxwell Garbarino: Late addition to City Council agenda.

Look at some the clownish figures we have had serve in the capacity of city manager in recent years.

    Utterly disgusting.
