This week’s Crime Log covers March 3-8.

Tuesday, March 3
A man was arrested for fraud following a traffic stop.
Officers helped Michigan State Police with a rollover traffic accident on I-75 north of Caniff. A person was treated at Detroit Receiving Hospital.
A resident was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without carrying a license and having an expired license.
A Detroit man was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without a license. It was noted he had 24 prior convictions and 20 current suspensions for the same offense. He was also wanted on numerous warrants from several other communities.
Wednesday, March 4
Officers issued an ordinance violation at a business in the 11400 block of Jos. Campau.
At about 3 a.m. two people were arrested following a traffic stop for possessing narcotics paraphernalia and having an open intoxicant.
A resident reported the theft of their 1999 Ford Taurus while it was parked in the 3400 block of Holbrook.
A Detroit woman was arrested for driving without a license and having improper license plates.
A Detroit woman was picked up from the Oakland County Jail for two felony warrants from Hamtramck.
A resident in the 2300 block of Danforth reported a break-in and the theft of two television sets and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, among other items.
Thursday, March 5
At 1:45 a.m. officers investigated an unoccupied car that was part of an investigation of a suspicious situation. The car was impounded.
At about 1 p.m. a juvenile reported being assaulted by a suspect while standing at Caniff and Gallagher.
A resident reported a case of identity theft. He said someone filed a tax return using his Social Security number.
A resident reported someone left a threatening voice mail.
Friday, March 6
At almost 2:30 a.m. a resident reported being robbed by a man while in front of her residence.
A Trowbridge resident reported the theft of his gun from his car.
Saturday, March 7
A person was arrested following a traffic stop for stealing a car.
At about 12:45 a.m. a man reported the theft of his 2000 Chevrolet Malibu.
Three residents were ticketed for possessing narcotic paraphernalia.
Officer responded to a break-in in process in the 2900 block of Lehman. Two suspects were seen at the residence, but they fled before officers arrived.
Sunday, March 8
A man was arrested for being disorderly following a disturbance in the 2200 block of Andrus.
At 12:30 a.m. a woman reported seeing another woman being pushed into a vehicle in the area of Evaline and Ellery. Officers responded but were unable to locate the car.
At 5:45 a.m. a woman reported being assaulted by her boyfriend at her residence on Oliver.
A man reported that someone took money out of his wallet while it was in a break room at a business in the 8500 block of Lumpkin.
A man reported someone stole his license plate from his Chevrolet pickup while it was parked in the 12000 block of Jos. Campau.
