Tuesday, March 10
At a little after midnight a driver was arrested following a traffic stop for motor vehicle fraud.
At about 3 a.m. a person was arrested for possessing narcotic paraphernalia and obstruction following an investigation.
A man reported the theft of his license plate from his taxi while it was parked in the 2400 block of Mitchell.
A man whose car had been stolen reported that it had been returned, parked in front of his residence with the keys in the ignition.
A Southgate resident reported the theft of his Ford F-150 while it was parked at Hanley and Jos. Campau.
A Dearborn resident was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without a license and having a fraudulent license tab.
A resident was arrested for driving without a license.
A resident in the 9300 block of McDougall reported someone attempted to steal his Jeep Liberty.
A resident reported the theft of his 2003 Chevy Voyager while it was parked in the 8900 block of Jos. Campau.
Two residents were arrested following a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for driving without a license and insurance fraud and the passenger was wanted on multiple warrants.
Wednesday, March 11
At about 10 a.m. a man was arrested for striking a woman on a DOT bus at Jos. Campau and Holbrook. The man then fled from the bus but officers caught up with him. The suspect assaulted an officer while being arrested.
A Lumpkin resident reported that her neighbor has been throwing trash in her yard.
A Detroit resident reported that after a verbal altercation with a person in the 9100 block of Conant, that person broke her gear shifter and put chocolate in her gas tank.
A Yemans resident someone keyed his car while it was parked on Brombach and Yemans.
Four men were seen stealing a running minivan that was parked at Jos. Campau and Danforth. The vehicle was later recovered in the 2400 block of Andrus.
Two residents were arrested for retail fraud at a store near Conant and Caniff.
A resident was arrested for being disorderly and being wanted on a Hamtramck warrant.
Thursday, March 12
At about 4 a.m. a Norwalk resident reported that her husband was missing.
At a little after 9 a.m. three Detroit residents were arrested following a traffic stop for the following offenses: possession of a stolen vehicle, driving without a license, possession of marijuana and being wanted on felony warrants.
At about noon, a resident was arrested for drinking in public at Jos. Campau and Caniff and being wanted on a Hamtramck warrant.
A Detroit resident was arrested following a traffic stop for having fraudulent insurance and possessing narcotic paraphernalia.
A white female pit bull on the loose at Casmere and Fleming was caught and taken to the Westland Humane Society.
Officers secured an unoccupied house with an open door in the 2000 block of Edwin.
A Detroit resident was arrested for armed robbery after being caught stealing at a store in the 3300 block of Caniff and then attempting to cut several employees with a knife after they caught him stealing.
Friday, March 13
A person was arrested for armed robbery at a market in the 3300 block of Caniff.
At almost midnight a woman reported being assaulted by a person known to her.
At almost 3 a.m. a Bernard resident reported a break-in.
A Detroit resident was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without a license and having a fraudulent license plate tab.
A Jacob resident reported a break-in at his residence.
Saturday, March 14
At almost 10 a.m. a resident was arrested after assaulting his girlfriend.
A woman reported being assaulted by her brother at her residence in the 1900 block of Trowbridge.
A Charest resident reported being robbed in the area of Charest and Holbrook by a man with dreadlocks wearing a grey Nike hoodie, camo pants and Nike shoes
A Florian resident reported her garage door was spray painted.
Sunday, March 15
Officers assisted firefighters at a house fire in the 11600 block of McDougall.
A Detroit resident was arrested following a traffic stop for being wanted on a felony warrant in Holland, Michigan.
Monday, March 16
A Detroit resident was arrested following a traffic stop for carrying narcotic paraphernalia and possessing an open intoxicant.
A Pulaski resident was arrested for domestic violence.
A man reported that his ex-wife damaged his car while it parked in the 9800 block of Jos. Campau.
At 1:30 a.m. officers responded to gunfire at BHA Hall on Caniff. No victims or suspects were located.
At 5:30 a.m. a man was arrested at Hamtramck Dr. and Jos. Campau for obstructing officers.
A resident was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without a license.
A resident in the 2700 block of Florian reported a break-in.
