This week’s Crime Log covers June 16-22.
Tuesday, June 16
At 9 p.m. officers attempted to pull over the driver of a Chevy Impala in the area of Conant and Carpenter but the driver fled.
At about 2:30 a.m. a person was arrested for obstruction following a disturbance in the 12000 block of Selfridge.
At 9 a.m. officers checked out an open door at a vacant business.
A man was arrested for fleeing and eluding and driving without a license.
A man reported a break-in at his residence in the 11300 block of Fleming.
A woman reported someone spray-painted her garage in the 3000 block of Roosevelt.
Wednesday, June 17
A resident reported the theft of their electric meter in the 3800 block of Norwalk.
At about 8:30 a.m. officers noticed an open door of a vacant residence in the 9800 block of Dequindre. The house was secured.
A woman reported a man she knows was stalking her.
A representative of McDonalds at 9301 Jos. Campau reported the theft of a bank deposit.
A woman reported the theft of her cell phone at a business in the 11800 block of Jos. Campau.
A woman reported damage to her car while it was parked in the 3200 block of Lehman.
Thursday, June 18
Officers responded to an alarm at Caniff Liberty Academy and found an open door. The door was secured.
At about 1 a.m. a juvenile was burned with gasoline by someone he knew in the 11600 block of Lumpkin.
A juvenile girl was assaulted by a man in the area of Belmont and Gallagher.
A woman who gave a false name to officers during a traffic stop was ticketed for driving without a license and obstructing police.
A woman reported a break-in at her residence in the 12000 block of Lumpkin.
A man reported a male suspect robbed him at gunpoint in the 11900 block of Jos. Campau.
Friday, June 19
Officers took a report of a minor being sexually assaulted.
A resident reported the theft of his license plate.
At about 2:30 a.m. a Belmont resident reported someone withdrew money from her Bank of America account.
A man reported the theft of his lawnmower from the front of his residence.
A man reported a theft at his business in the 9000 block of Jos. Campau.
A man was arrested for possessing an open bottle of liquor while in front of a residence in the 12000 block of Grand Haven.
Saturday, June 20
No incident reports were available for this date.
Sunday, June 21
At a little after midnight a juvenile girl was arrested for violating the curfew ordinance.
At 4:30 a.m. a Royal Oak resident was arrested by Troy police on an outstanding Hamtramck warrant.
At about 6:30 a.m. an Evaline resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.
A Belmont resident reported the theft of a bike from their backyard.
A West Bloomfield resident reported that his former tenants broke into the garage of his rental home on Comstock and stole a number of items.
A woman reported her ex-boyfriend assaulted her and broke her iPhone.
A man reported he was assaulted by seven other men armed with bats and clubs while at shopping strip at Jos. Campau and Holbrook.
Monday, June 22
Officers took a small black and white dog after noticing the dog’s leash was pinned under a car in the 3400 block of Yemans.
At almost 12:30 a.m. a Detroit woman reported being assaulted by her boyfriend.
At 1:30 a.m. officers noticed a broken window at a business in the 9600 block of Jos. Campau.
A Lumpkin resident reported she was harassed by individuals who claimed to have broken into her house a week earlier.
A Charest resident reported that his next-door neighbor entered his yard and stole items. The incident was captured on video.
A Casmere resident reported that someone opened a PayPal account in her name.
An agent from Walter’s Party Store reported three incidents of receiving a fraudulent check.
A man reported the theft of his bike from the 3100 block of Holbrook. The man said he later saw a similar looking bike in a pawn shop on Jos. Campau near Holbrook.
A man reported that his neighbor in the 12000 block of Charest violated a personal protection order by coming onto his property and pushing over flower pots. Officer arrested the suspect.
A man reported a break-in at his house in the 3800 block of Trowbridge.
A man reported someone attempted to break into his business in the 11300 block of Conant.
