This week’s Crime Log covers Aug. 23-29.

Tuesday, Aug. 23
A complaint was made by a Selfridge St. resident about an unwanted guest.
Officers made a traffic stop of a bicyclist in the St. Aubin and Commor area.
A report was made about a man, dressed in all black clothing, who fired a gun at a vehicle in the area of Grand Haven and Circle Dr. Upon investigation, officers determined that there was no victim, and that the person who made the report did not want to be identified. Officers did not find any shell casings.
A person in the 12000 block of Oklahoma was shot with a gun.
A car theft was reported in the 12000 block of McDougall.
A break-in was reported in the 12000 block of Dyar.
A theft was reported on Caniff.
A McDougall St. resident reported a car theft.

Wednesday, Aug. 24
A theft was reported in the 8900 block of Jos. Campau.
An incident of fraud was reported in the 12100 block of Conant.
A theft was reported in the 2200 block of Geimer.
A break-in was reported in the 2200 block of Goodson.
Family trouble was reported in the 3000 block of Jacob.
A robbery was reported in the 11600 block of Jos. Campau.
An assault was reported in the area of Lumpkin and Caniff.
A suspect was arrested in the 11400 block of Klinger for assault and retail fraud.

Thursday, Aug. 25
Officers investigated two suspicious persons at Caniff and Sobieski.
Officers responded to a reported robbery at Caniff and Gallagher, but determined that the incident occurred in Detroit.
Family trouble was reported in the 2300 block of Burger.
A neighbor dispute was reported on Norwalk.
A theft was reported at a Jos. Campau business.
A man was arrested for a domestic assault that occurred in the 2400 block of Carpenter.

Friday, Aug. 26
Officers investigating a report of a suspicious person in the area of Jos. Campau and Casmere arrested the suspect for being wanted on a Hamtramck warrant.
A woman reported being assaulted, while in the 12000 block of Grand Haven, by a male she knows.
Officers investigated a suspicious package on Conant.
An assault was reported in the 2400 block of Andrus.
A juvenile was reported missing from a home in the 12000 block of Selfridge.
Officers responded to a call about a person in the 2100 block of Caniff who was loitering and causing a disturbance.
A hit-and-run accident was reported in the area of Dequindre and Woodland. A resident was arrested at the scene.

Saturday, Aug. 27
A suspicious situation was reported in the 3800 block of Dorothy.
An assault was reported at Jos. Campau and Commor.
Officers responding to a complaint about disorderly people at a business in the 3500 block of Caniff arrested a Caniff resident for being disorderly and for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.
A man was arrested in the 12100 block of Gallagher for domestic assault.

Sunday, Aug. 28
A report was made about gunshots being fired in the 3800 block of Doremus. Officers found no victim, or signs that shots had been fired.
A report was made abut a large group of people fighting in the 9400 block of Jos. Campau.
A report was made about a suspicious woman who was seen looking into vehicles in the 11700 block of Dyar.
Gunshots were reported in the 2000 block of Trowbridge.
A break-in was reported in the 3200 block of Dan.
A car theft was reported in the 2400 block of Commor.
A car theft was reported on Edwin.
Officers attempted to pull over the driver of a mini-bike, but the driver sped away.

Monday, Aug. 29
Officers checked an area in the 2000 block of Trowbridge where a suspicious suspect was sighted who possibly matched the description of a suspect who had shot up a residence earlier in the day. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
After a traffic stop, officers arrested a Southfield resident who was wanted on two felony warrants and multiple misdemeanor warrants.
An assault was reported in the 11300 block of Fleming.
A theft was reported on Caniff.
A complaint was made about disorderly juveniles on Holbrook.
A hit-and-run accident was reported on Caniff.
