HPS alumni visit
Hamtramck High School recently welcomed back some familiar faces to highlight HPS success stories and begin a fruitful conversation between our alumni and student body.
Students used this opportunity to discuss college, post-secondary and career options with alumni who have been in their shoes before.
There is nothing quite like seeing our students, past and present, come together to uplift and support one another.
Winter Glow
The annual Winter Glow was held last Saturday at the Hamtramck High School Community Center, and it offered a ton of activities for kids.
The only thing it didn’t offer was actual winter-like weather. Instead, winter snow came days later, on Wednesday, when about 5-6 inches of snow fell and forced the district to cancel classes.

Kids had fun on an inflatable slide at last Saturday’s Winter Glow.
