Tuesday, June 18
A man reported his 2001 Dodge Caravan was stolen in the 11400 block of Lumpkin St.
At about 2 p.m. a man was arrested for domestic violence at a house in the 3200 block of Trowbridge St.
A woman reported that a person she met online was sending her harassing and threatening calls and e-mails.
A woman living in the 11300 block of Moran St. said someone tried to break into her house.
A woman reported that someone tried to steal her 2005 Chrysler Town & Country in the 2600 block of Zinow St.
A woman in the 3100 block of Lehman St. reported someone broke into her house and stole several electronic items.
A man reported that someone stole his 2004 Dodge Neon from the 2900 block of Caniff. Police recovered the car the next day.
A woman reported a Jos. Campau party store employee assaulted her.
Wednesday, June 19
Officers received a report of a drunken man damaging a car at the Hamtramck Town Center shopping strip.
A man was arrested for beating his wife in the 3800 block of Dorothy St.
A man reported someone broke into his home in the 2700 block of Poland St. sometime between 9:30 and 11 a.m.
A man reported that while working in a house on Andrus St. a man and a woman broke in and assaulted him.
A person who attempted suicide was taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital.
At about 7 p.m. officers investigated a hit-and-run accident on the northbound I-75 Service Dr. at Dequindre. A short time later, the suspect was found and arrested for drunk driving.
Thursday, June 20
At 3 a.m. a man was arrested for drunk driving during a traffic stop at Gallagher and Lehman.
A woman reported that her 1994 Nissan was stolen in the 12000 block of Grand Haven St.
A representatvie of CVS reported that a woman stole merchandise from the store and then fled in a red Buick.
A representative from A & C Market reported someone spray-painted the walls of the store.
A woman reported that a woman she knows stole property from her flat in the 2400 block of Andrus St. while she was moving out.
A Harper Woods resident was arrested at I-94 and Chene after a car chase. The car the suspect was driving was stolen.
An Edwin St. man reported that a man kept calling him to transfer money into a bank account in exchange for tax-free money.
Friday, June 21
At almost midnight a man was arrested in the 11000 block of Moran St. for being drunk and obstructing officers.
At almost 1 a.m. a man was arrested for drunk driving and driving without a license during a traffic stop at Jos. Campau and Casmere.
At 1:30 a.m. a man was arrested for domestic violence in the 12000 block of St. Aubin St.
A man reported his 1997 Plymouth Voyager was stolen in the 3000 block of Trowbridge St.
A man reported that another man illegally dumped trash in a dumpster in the west Jos. Campau alley between Norwalk and Poland.
A landlord from Farmington reported someone broke into his rental unit on McDougall St. He also said that when he arrived at the unit a man wearing a white T-shirt ran away from the dwelling.
A Florian St. resident was arrested for animal cruelty.
A Nagel St. man reported he was robbed at gunpoint by a teenager while walking in the area of Nagel and Casmere at about 3 p.m.
A Detroit man was arrested in the 3800 block of Doremus while officers investigated a report of a fight and the suspect refused to leave the premises.
A woman reported that while walking in the area of Carpenter and the west Conant alley a man stole her gold necklace by ripping it off her neck and then fled.
A Trowbridge St. man was arrested for assaulting his fiancé.
Saturday, June 22
A woman living in the 3900 block of Trowbridge St. reported someone damaged her screen door sometime after 1 a.m.
A man reported that a woman snatched another woman’s purse at Belmont and Jos. Campau. The suspect was then seen getting into a black Pontiac Grand Prix.
Sunday, June 23
A man reported being assaulted by an employee of a business on Conant.
Michigan State Police reported they recovered a stolen handgun belonging to a Hamtramck resident.
A Norwalk St. resident reported his bike was stolen.
Monday, June 24
A woman reported that while standing in front of her house in the 12000 block of Moran at 5:30 p.m. a man came up to her and ripped off a gold necklace she was wearing. The man fled on foot.
A Lumpkin St. woman reported a house break-in
A man reported his ex-girlfriend had broken into his residence and stole his wallet and cell phone. Based on the description of the woman’s getaway vehicle, police were able to find and arrest her.
An Edwin St. man was arrested for beating his wife.
A St. Aubin St. man reported someone stole his 1997 Dodge Caravan.
A woman reported that her husband threatened several times to kill her.
An intoxicated resident reported being beaten by a stranger while near 9301 Jos. Campau.
A man reported he was robbed of his iPhone while at Conant and Doremus. The suspect fled in a maroon-colored Pontiac Grand Prix. The victim was able to get the license plate number of the car.
