This week’s Crime Log covers June 3-9.
Tuesday, June 3
At about 10 p.m. a man was arrested in the 11600 block of Mitchell for domestic violence and violating a restraining order.
A Dearborn man was arrested for an outstanding warrant in Ferndale.
At 9:30 a.m. a resident reported someone threw rocks at his wife and children while they were in their yard, located in the 12000 block of Lumpkin.
A Detroit man was arrested when he arrived at the police station on an unrelated matter.

Wednesday, June 4
At 1 a.m. a Holmes resident reported receiving threatening phone calls from an unknown person.
At almost 6 a.m. a Hamtramck man reported someone stole two tires and rims from his car while parked in the 2700 block of Poland.
At 7:30 a.m. a Hamtramck resident reported a man attempted to steal his cell phone while he was standing on the corner of Caniff and Gallagher.
A man on Lehman reported that his tax refund was wired to an account that did not belong to him and the funds were spent.
The owner of Pro Discount reported that someone took lottery tickets from his store.
Thursday, June 5
At 11 p.m. a man was arrested in the 11000 block of Sobieski for assaulting his girlfriend.
A resident reported the theft of two wheels from his car while it was parked in the 2700 block of Poland.
A resident in the 2200 block of Florian reported someone broke into his shed.
A Zinow resident reported someone broke into his garage through a window and stole a three-piece Snap On tool box, a vehicle as well as keys to four other vehicles.
A residence in the 11000 block of Fleming was broken into while under renovation.

Friday, June 6
At 10:30 p.m. a woman reported that her juvenile daughter was missing. The child returned home the next day.
At 3:30 a.m. a resident living in the 2700 block of Norwalk reported the theft of four wheels of his car.
A woman in the housing projects reported that her neighbor pointed a gun at her.
A resident in the 1000 block of Nagel reported that her home was broken into during the day.
A man was arrested after refusing to pull over during a traffic stop and lead officers on a chase. He was arrested after being involved in an accident on Detroit’s east side.
A man in the 12000 block of Charest reported someone attempted to break into his garage.
Saturday, June 7

At 3:30 a.m. a resident reported someone broke into her home in the 11000 block of St. Aubin.
At 10 a.m. officers responded to a report of a man and woman fighting in the alley behind their residence on Yemans. One or both were reportedly armed with a knife. When officers arrived there was no answer at the door, and they noted the house was in a “shambles.”
A Roosevelt resident reported that his car was stolen while parked in front of his house.
A Selfridge resident reported that her ex-boyfriend struck her in the face and then fled the scene.
Officers responded to a residence for a report of a man assaulted by his son. Officers detained the juvenile son and transported him to Juvenile Detention.
Officers arrested a local homeless man for an open warrant.
Sunday, June 8
At a little after 11 p.m. a woman reported her son had run away.
At 2:15 a.m. a person was arrested following an investigation of a break-in.
At a little after 2:30 a.m. a person was arrested for trespassing following an investigation in the 2000 block of Caniff.
At almost 4 a.m. a person was arrested for striking another person on the head with a glass vase.
At 2:17 a.m. a Detroit resident was arrested for breaking into a garage on Sobieski.
A Grayling resident reported that a rock was thrown through the widow of his house.
A Holbrook resident was assaulted by his neighbor during an argument.
A Caniff resident report his garage was broken into and a bike was stolen.
A Caniff resident reported the theft of a package that was mailed to his apartment.
Monday, June 9
At 11:15 p.m. a man was arrested during a traffic stop for possessing narcotic paraphernalia.
At a little after midnight a person complained that a man driving a red Ford Explorer was circling the block of Lehman and was seen looking into the complainant’s vehicle with a flashlight.
At 3:30 a.m. a woman was arrested for drunk driving during a traffic stop at Yemans and Brombach.
At 7:36 a.m. a Klinger resident reported someone stole tools from her unlocked garage.
Detroit police reported they found a 1996 Plymouth Voyager that was reported stolen in Hamtramck.
