Breaking news … PNC Bank robbed by lone male suspect

Hamtramck police are seeking information about a bank robbery that happened on Tuesday (Dec. 19) at PNC Bank.
The robbery was reported at about 4 p.m., and so far the police department is being tight-lipped about the details of what happened.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday, the suspect, who had fled from the scene before officers arrived, is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 5-foot, 10-inches tall, to 6-foot, 3-inches tall.
The suspect was wearing black clothing, a surgical mask and gloves.
Police did not say whether a gun was involved, but did say that no one was injured.
The bank, located at Jos. Campau and Caniff, was last robbed in 2013 by a lone suspect.
Also, in 2013, four black males approached two people at the ATM machine at PNC. One of the suspects had a shotgun. They robbed the pair of $500.
