Tuesday, Oct. 18
A report was made of a suspicious male knocking on the door of a residence in the 12000 block of Selfridge. The person who called about the matter later said that the suspect had left.
A domestic assault was reported in the 2700 block of Evaline.
A theft was reported in the 9600 block of Jos. Campau.
A theft was reported on Caniff.
An assault was reported on Dyar.
Wednesday, Oct. 19
Officers observed a break-in that had just occurred in the 11000 block of Jos. Campau. Officers then observed a blue Ford F-150 fleeing the scene and chased the vehicle. Officers lost sight of the vehicle after it sped off.
Officers investigated a suspicious male at Caniff and Lumpkin.
A report was made about damage to a property in the 3500 block of Caniff.
A theft was reported in the 9300 block of Jos. Campau.
A hit-and-run accident occurred on Lumpkin.
A complaint was made about a disorderly juvenile on Hanley.
A break-in occurred on St. Aubin.
Officers assisted a stranded motorist at Gallagher and Holbrook.
Thursday, Oct. 20
A hit-and-run occurred at Brombach and Edwin.
Officers investigated a fight, involving a knife, in the 11000 block of Conant. Officers spoke to one of the subjects at the scene, but that person was uncooperative and refused medical attention.
A theft was reported on Dan.
A car theft was reported on Hanley.
A Yemans St. resident reported being assaulted.
An incident of fraud was reported by a business on Conant.
A complaint was made about a juvenile on Hanley.
An assault was reported on Jos. Campau and Evaline.
Friday, Oct. 21
A complaint was made about an unwanted guest in the 2600 block of Zinow.
A complaint was made about a loose pit bull on Andrus.
A Dyar St. resident reported a theft.
Two Detroit residents were arrested for obstructing police during a traffic stop.
A complaint was made about a neighbor in the 9400 block of Mitchell.
A hit-and-run accident occurred in the area of Edwin and Conant.
A domestic assault occurred in the 2700 block of Evaline.
Saturday, Oct. 22
A domestic assault was reported in the 3500 block of Caniff.
A vehicle was reported stolen in the area of Klinger and Caniff.
A woman was arrested for drunk driving after driving the wrong way on a one-way street and refusing to move for other motorists.
An unwanted guest was reported in the 12000 block of Selfridge.
Customer trouble was reported at a business in the 3000 block of Caniff.
A resident of Brighton reported being assaulted in Hamtramck by her ex-husband.
Two stray dogs were captured at Roosevelt and Gallagher, and taken to the Michigan Humane Society.
A complaint was made about a disorderly person on Hanley.
Sunday, Oct. 23
A report was made of a male in the 12000 block of Selfridge who was knocking on doors and attempting to gain entry.
Officers responded to a call about a male in the 3200 block of Caniff who was bleeding. The male refused assistance.
Officers responded to a call in the 3900 block of Edwin about a child who was not breathing.
A complaint was made about a disorderly male in the 10000 block of Conant. Officers sent the person home.
A complaint was made about suspicious males walking around a residence in the 5100 block of Evaline.
A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 2400 block of Florian. A disorderly person was reported at Brombach and Poland.
Monday, Oct. 24
A report was made of two males arguing in the 2700 block of Yemans.
Three males, in the area of Mitchell and Casmere, were seen tampering with vehicles. One suspect was arrested for possessing a replica firearm and an illegal knife.
Male suspects were reported to have jumped a fence in the area of Poland and Dequindre.
Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle, in the 11000 block of McDougall, with its doors open and lights on, determined the vehicle had been stolen out of Pontiac.
Family trouble was reported on Yemans.
A suspect was arrested for a break-in on Jacob.
A theft was reported on Evaline.
Customer trouble was reported at a Jos. Campau business.
A suspect was arrested for a domestic assault on Selfridge.
