Tuesday, Oct. 22
A little after midnight, police officers discovered a 12-year-old outside at Norwalk and Gallagher. The juvenile was returned to his mother.
At about 2 a.m., a man was arrested for auto theft.
A man was arrested at Walter’s Party Store for trying to cash a fraudulent check.
A woman reported that someone tried to open a Verizon cell phone account in her name without her permission.
Wednesday, Oct. 23
A woman living in the 2600 block of Commor St. reported at around midnight that her boyfriend assaulted her.
A man reported that his 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen. In another instance, a woman reported her 1999 Grand Prix was stolen from the 3800 block of Yemans St.
A Lumpkin St. woman reported she got into an argument with another woman, who then broke out a window and used a piece of glass to stab her.
Officers reported a false report that underage kids were left alone at home in a residence on Belmont St.
Thursday, Oct. 24
A woman reported that the boyfriend of her foster daughter threatened to kill the daughter. The woman said the boyfriend sent her a photo of him holding a gun.
A woman reported someone stole her license plate from her 2002 Saturn.
Two neighbors on Moran St. got into a fight over a parking spot. One of the neighbors pulled out a replica rifle and threatened to shoot the other. Officers arrested the neighbor with the fake gun.
Officers arrested a driver of a stolen 2002 Ford Focus. The driver was also arrested for driving without a license and holding narcotic paraphernalia.
Friday, Oct. 25
At a little after 11 p.m., a person was arrested for obstructing officers during an investigation in the 2700 block of Evaline St.
A resident of Belmont St. reported the theft of his license plate.
A Romulus resident reported her debit card was stolen on Oct. 6 while she was at Club Aces, 11425 Jos. Campau.
At about 9 p.m., a Roosevelt St. resident reported someone threw a brick through the window of his car.
Saturday, Oct. 26
At 5 a.m., a person was arrested for disorderly conduct while in the 2200 block of Norwalk St.
Sunday, Oct. 27
At 12:15 a.m., a driver was arrested for a traffic violation for not having a driver’s license after being pulled over for a traffic violation.
An alarm went off at a residence in the 1500 block of Commor St. Officers discovered an open door there. The house was searched and secured. A similar instance happened in the 11300 block of St. Aubin St.
A man was ticketed for not disclosing he had a concealed weapons permit after being pulled over for a traffic violation.
