This week’s Crime Log covers Nov. 11-17.

Tuesday, November 11
Detroit police recovered a car stolen from Hamtramck. The car had been completely stripped for parts.
An owner of a business in the 3000 block of Caniff reported a break-in.
At a little after 9:30 a.m. a resident reported that a neighbor pointed a gun at her.
A resident reported a home break-in at a residence in the 5000 block of Evaline.
A Caniff resident reported the theft of his license plate.
Two men were arrested for possessing illegal drugs following a traffic stop at Mackay and Commor.
A Moran resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.
An Evaline resident reported the theft of his ladder.

 
Wednesday, November 12
At around 8:30 a.m. a man was arrested for breaking a window at 9621 Jos. Campau.
A man reported someone broke into his rental house in the 11700 block of Mackay.
Police received a report that a business in the 9800 block of Jos. Campau was cashing bad checks.
Detroit police reported recovering a car stolen in Hamtramck. Police reported the car had been completely stripped for parts.
A family reported received over 100 harassing text messages.

Thursday, November 13
A Burger resident reported the theft of an item from his car.
A business at Carpenter and Conant reported receiving a fraudulent check.
Two people were arrested following an investigation at Buffalo and Prescott. One person was arrested for driving without a license and another person was arrested for a felony warrant from Sterling Heights.

Friday, November 14
A Yemans resident was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant following an investigation at Caniff Liberty Academy.
A Detroit resident reported someone broke into his car while it was parked in the 2900 block of Holbrook. The resident said several items were stolen.
An Andrus resident reported damage to his vehicle.

Saturday, November 15

A Florian resident reported a garage break-in and the theft of several items.
A Dequindre resident reported her 15-year-old son ran away from home.
A real estate agent reported someone broke into her house on Yemans.

A St. Aubin resident was arrested for producing fraudulent proof of insurance during a traffic stop at Fleming and Holmes.
A Dorothy resident was arrested for being wanted on a Hamtramck warrant during a traffic stop at Prescott and Conant.
A Highland Park man was arrested for possessing an open bottle of liquor during a traffic stop.
Sunday, November 16
At about 1:30 a.m. a person reported being robbed at gunpoint by four men.
A person was arrested for being wanted on an outstanding Hamtramck warrant for income tax evasion.

Monday, November 17, 2014
A Detroit resident was arrested for drunk driving after attempting to get on I-75 in the wrong direction.
At almost noon a resident reported that she and her son were robbed at gunpoint by three men while they were near Jos. Campau and Caniff.
