Saturday, Dec. 21
At 12:50 a.m. in the 9400 block of Jos. Campa officers arrested a person for being disorderly.
A woman was arrested at Walter’s Party Store for fraud.
A woman was arrested at Value World on Jos. Campau for trespassing.
A Lehman St. resident reported someone shattered the rear glass door of their residence.
A Lehman St. resident reported his car was stolen while it was parked in front of his residence.
Officers recovered a stolen vehicle after a woman reported that she was contacted by the person who stole it and he was attempting to sell it back to her.
Sunday, Dec. 22
At 2 a.m. two people were arrested following a disturbance in the 2100 block of Caniff.
At nearly noon, a man reported the theft of all of the tires to his 2013 Ford Fusion while it was parked in the 2000 block of Yemans St.
A man said someone used his stolen credit card at the CVS Pharmacy on Jos. Campau.
A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend assaulted her and then stole her cell phone and Social Security card. The ex-boyfriend then fled her apartment in the 3500 block of Caniff.
Monday, Dec. 23
At 4 a.m. officers responded to a break-in alarm at 11800 Jos. Campau and upon arrival found out that someone had indeed broken in and stole two flat screen televisions.
Officers were sent to Children’s Hospital about a juvenile who had been shot. Officers determined that the youth accidently shot himself.
A Mitchell St. resident reported her 1999 Chevy Malibu was stolen from in front of her residence. A few hours later, the car was recovered.
A Mitchell St. resident reported that her landlord attempted to break in to her apartment.
Tuesday, Dec. 24
At 3 a.m. a person was arrested at Jos. Campau and Caniff for disorderly conduct.
At 3:40 a.m. a person was arrested in the 11600 block of Klinger St. for burglary.
A resident living in the 3200 block of Trowbridge St. reported someone broke into his garage.
The manager of Game Stop on Jos. Campau reported that employees from a nearby business illegally dumped garbage in the rear alley.
A Norwalk St. woman reported receiving harassing calls and texts from her ex-husband.
A Detroit resident reported being assault by a security guard while inside Club Aces at 11425 Jos. Campau.
Officers were dispatched to the block of 12000 Selfridge St. for a domestic incident between a couple.
Wednesday, Dec. 25
At 4:15 a.m. a woman reported the theft of her 2003 Dodge Caravan while it was parked in the 11000 block of Mitchell St.
At 6 a.m. a man was arrested after a traffic stop at Whalen and Mackay for drunk driving and assault.
A man reported the theft of his 1995 Toyota Camry while it was parked in the 2300 block of Yemans St.
Officers responded to a call about a loose pit bull on a porch in the 3900 block of Edwin St. The dog was taken to the police station.
Thursday, Dec. 26
At 1:45 a.m. a person entered the police station to make a report about receiving threatening phone calls.
Two car crashes occurred, one at Caniff and Lumpkin and another at Charest and Commor.
Friday, Dec. 27
At about 7 a.m. two men wearing white masks and dark gloves broke into the Carpenter Pharmacy and stole a small amount of prescription drugs but no narcotics.
A man said his tenant wrote him two fraudulent checks for rent.
Three suspects were arrested for breaking into a residence in the 2700 block of Florian St.
Saturday, Dec. 28
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 2900 block of Evaline St. No other information was available.
A resident reported that someone attempted to steal his Dodge Caravan while it was parked on Holbrook St.
