Tuesday, June 24
At almost 1 a.m. a Detroit resident was ticketed for presenting fraudulent proof of insurance during a traffic stop.
At a little after 1 a.m. an Oak Park resident was arrested for possessing prescription pills that did not belong to her.
At almost 2:20 a.m. a Detroit resident was arrested for possessing an open bottle of liquor.
At 11:30 p.m. a resident reported someone spray-painted his garage.
Wednesday, June 25
At a little after 5 a.m. a driver in a red Dodge Intrepid fled from officers in the area of Mitchell and Commor.
A resident reported someone attempted to steal his car from the 12000 block of Charest.
A resident reported someone with a BB gun shot out the windows of her car and house.
A woman reported that her co-worker’s wife is stalking her.
A Detroit resident was arrested for a strong-armed robbery that happened in the Jos. Campau-Whalen area.
Thursday, June 26
At almost 11:30 p.m. a person reported being robbed at gunpoint by a man wearing a white shirt and black pants in the 11000 block of Jos. Campau.
At 11:45 p.m. officers secured an open door at a residence in the 12000 block of Lumpkin.
At almost 3 a.m. a person was arrested for possessing an open bottle of liquor following a traffic stop.
Two Detroit men were arrested in the housing projects for assaulting a police officer and obstructing police.
A man on Dorothy reported that his two mountain bikes were stolen from his garage.
A woman on Danforth reported her identity was stolen, and it was used to purchase goods.
Officers arrested a Detroit man for purchasing marijuana in the housing projects and driving while his license was suspended and being wanted on a warrant.
Friday, June 27
A person was arrested for attempted armed robbery following an incident in the 11000 block of Conant.
At 1:30 a.m. a person was arrested for violating his parole.
At 4 a.m. a man reported that someone he knows struck him in the head with a beer bottle after an argument.
Walter’s Party store reported two men grabbed fireworks from the store’s tent display and fled in a Buick.
An Oliver man reported someone stole his license plate.
Saturday, June 28
Officers arrested a Hamtramck man for having a shotgun and running from police in the area of Mitchell and Casmere.
A man reported his Dodge Caravan was stolen from his home on Yemans.
Following an argument between a brother and his sister, the sister slashed her brother’s car tires.
A man on Mitchell reported his wallet stolen from his van parked in front of his house.
A man robbed AutoZone at gunpoint and fled on foot.
Sunday, June 29
At about 11:15 p.m. a resident reported he had been assaulted by 10 men while in the area of Gallagher and Belmont.
At about 3 a.m. a man was arrested for assault and battery.
A Moran resident reported someone attempted to steal his car.
A 23-year-old man was reported missing by his legal guardian.
A resident reported his green 2001 Chrysler Town & Country was stolen from the 12000 block of Klinger.
A Florian resident reported being assault by her fiancé.
A Klinger resident reported her blue 2003 Jeep Liberty was stolen from the 11400 block of Klinger.
Monday, June 30
At almost 10 p.m. a resident said that while at a bus stop at Conant and Holbrook, a man attempted to kidnap her.
At 10 p.m. an adult man and four male juveniles were arrested for assaulting and attempting to rob a man of his bike while he was at Casmere and Mitchell.
At 1:45 a.m. a patron of a Jos. Campau bar thought he was shot at, but it turned out that it was just someone who had set off fireworks.
At 8 a.m. a resident living in the 12000 block of Gallagher reported a man came to her house, brandished a badge, but refused to identify himself. The man left the residence without further incident.
At almost 1 p.m. a Yemans resident was arrested after a short foot chase for obstructing officers and being wanted on a felony warrant.
At 1 p.m. a Detroit woman was arrested for armed robbery after she implied she had a gun to three women and attempted to hold them up at Jos. Campau and Danforth.
An Edwin resident reported her 14-year-old son had been missing since June 27.
