Tuesday, Oct. 15
A Lumpkin St. woman reported that her landlord attacked her dog, causing injuries. The landlord fled before police arrived.
At a little after midnight a musician leaving a local nightclub reported that he was approached by three men while loading equipment into his vehicle. One of the men asked for the time, and when the musician looked back up, a gun was pointed at him. The suspects took his iPhone and $12.
A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for domestic violence.
A man reported that someone cut his phone line at his business in the 11400 block of Conant.
A man was arrested after firing a gun in an apartment in the Hamtramck Housing Project.
A resident was arrested at CVS Pharmacy for shoplifting and on two outstanding Hamtramck warrants.
Wednesday, Oct. 16
At 11 p.m. a man reported that while in the 3400 block of Caniff two men approached him and robbed him at gunpoint. The suspects fled with his cell phone.
At about 12:30 a.m., two intoxicated women filed cross-complaints against each other regarding a fight they had.
A resident reported that his roommate spent his Metro PCS rebate card without his permission.
A woman reported that the man she had a child with assaulted her, stole $100 and broke her cell phone while they were at Carpenter and Conant.
Thursday, Oct. 17
Three Detroit residents were arrested in connection to a number of armed robberies that occurred in Hamtramck for the past several weeks.
At 12:45 a.m., two males were arrested for breaking into a residence in the 2700 block of Trowbridge St.
A man reported that someone broke into his semi-truck parked in the 8300 block of St. Aubin St.
A man reported that a woman stole his 2010 Ford Edge while it was parked in the 2300 block of Botsford St.
A woman was arrested for assaulting her roommate.
Friday, Oct. 18
The owner of a dog at a residence in the 2600 block of Pulaski St. was warned by officers about the dog’s ongoing barking.
At nearly 6:30 a.m., a man reported someone had thrown a brick through his kitchen window. He said a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo was seen fleeing the area. The man also pointed out to officers that three nearby apartments had been broken into and that thieves stole copper piping from them.
An Alice St. woman reported that her husband had not taken his medication for several days and had left their residence and not returned.
During a traffic stop officers found marijuana on three Detroit residents. The suspects were ticketed and their car was towed.
Officers responded to gunfire in the 11300 block of Lumpkin St. They discovered a window shot out at a house.
Saturday, Oct. 19
At almost 2 a.m., officers helped firefighters extinguish a car fire at Holbrook and I-75.
At 3 a.m., a woman reported someone stole her 2004 Ford Focus from the Holmes-Mackay area. The woman said her keys were in the vehicle.
A woman said two men with a handgun robbed Cash Advance at 9125 Jos. Campau.
A man was arrested for possessing stolen goods while at Carpenter and Fleming.
Sunday, Oct. 20
At 12:30 a.m. a person was arrested from a residence in the 11700 block of Klinger St. for domestic abuse.
At 5 a.m. a woman living in the 3000 block of Jacob St. reported her son assaulted her and then fled.
A Warren resident was arrested while in the 9100 block of Jos. Campau for carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing officers who were there to investigate a suspicious situation.
A Detroit man reported his car was stolen while it was in the 2300 block of Caniff. Upon investigation the car had been recovered in another city and it had been involved in an accident.
Officers assisted an ambulance crew who recovered an intoxicated woman who had injured her head after falling down in the Caniff-Klinger area.
A Caniff St. resident reported fraudulent use of her Victoria Secret credit card.
Monday, Oct. 21
At about 5 a.m. police officers noticed an open door at a residence in the 3000 block of Hanley St. Officers said it did not appear anything had been disturbed and then secured the door.
