Dan Burden, a nationally-known expert on making communities more walkable, is hiking into town.
Burden and the City Of Hamtramck are hosting a walk around the city on Thursday, July 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. To join the walk, meet at City Hall.

Hamtramck already has won a major grant to make routes to schools in town safer. Work on that project will begin in the next several weeks.
