Have a happy holiday season and new year

The holiday season is officially here, and once again, for the next two weeks, The Review will be taking a bit of a break.
This is when we present our “Year in Review” of all the news Hamtramck has experienced over that time.
Obviously, it’s a time to reflect, and looking back at the year is something that we look forward to producing. While we say this every year, it’s amazing how much news this little town packs into 12 months.
Hamtramck is endlessly interesting – even as, at times, we Hamtramckans squabble. Those interactions mean that we all care about this town.
The Christmas and New Year’s Eve weeks also allow folks to re-charge their batteries, and get together with family and friends.
It’s good for all of us to slow down every once and awhile.
And, as always, we appreciate our readers for supporting us throughout the year — and for the past 14 years.
We wish all of you Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year.
