Not in the holiday spirit yet?
Or, maybe thirsting for more holiday merriment?
Either way, head over to Pope Park on Saturday (Dec. 14), from 4-9 p.m., where the good folks at Discover Hamtramck are hosting what’s being called a Winter Night Bazaar.
Yeah, we know, it’s winter and it’s cold, but fret not: all the fun takes place under a big, heated tent.
Under this tent will be various local crafts vendors, selling their wares.
Adding to the festive mood will be refreshments, beverages and — hint, hint — maybe some musicians strolling about.
As a bonus, you don’t have to worry about parking at the meters because it’s free parking on Saturday.
Note: Parking will, as usual, be free on Sunday as well, but then paid parking returns on Monday, Dec. 16 until, once again, it’s free parking from Tuesday, Dec. 17, through New Years’ Day before returning to active status on Jan. 2.
(Note to city administration: Oh come on, what’s the harm of including free parking on Monday, Dec. 16?)
Also, at the park, enjoy the Holiday Light tunnel which is designed for you to take that perfect holiday photo.
