Heart Month
February is National Heart Month, a time when the nation spotlights heart disease and preventative measures. We encourage our students and staff at HPS to recognize the importance of heart health, not only in February but throughout the entire year.
Within our health and physical education classrooms, we reinforce the importance of a healthy lifestyle, physical activity and avoiding unhealthy habits.

HPS Celebrates counselors
During National School Counselors week, we would like to thank our amazing counseling staff at Hamtramck Public Schools. We appreciate the support, wisdom and guidance you provide to our students each and every day!

Careers programs
HPS celebrates Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month. CTE prepares students for careers in fields such as health care, IT, advanced manufacturing and more!
We strive to engage students in related programs in order to help them grow as professionals and contribute to economic development in the future!
