Former Recreation Commission member David Olko, 66, died March 2, 2016.
Mr. Olko had a passion for kids and expanding recreation programs.
Mr. Olko was the beloved husband of Roberta; father of Damon (Cheryl), James, Jeffery; brother of Mark (Vicky), Betty Ann Nawrocki; grandfather of Daric, Johnathan, Jordan. Many extended family members also survive.
Visitation is Saturday from 2-9 p.m. with a funeral service Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Jurkiewicz & Wilk Funeral Home, 2396 Caniff, Hamtramck, MI 48212. A private cremation will follow.
